ABOUT ONLINE TRAINING IN GENERAL

How is Online Training different from regular Personal Training?

Online training is a new and exciting way to offer health and fitness guidance that can be utilized by anyone from anywhere, offering convenience, responsiveness, flexibility, and affordability. It’s especially designed for busy people who value their time and look for a sustainable way to transform their health & fitness in the long run.

Leveraging the power of the internet and cutting out the overhead costs of the gym means that you get more from your hard-earned money. Using online check-in and communication tools, I empower you with more accountability and support than I ever could in-person. Simply put: My online clients get SO much more from me than my in-person clientele ever could.

The program is YOUR program. No longer limited by rules of the gym, scheduling necessities, and financial obligations to a host of other parties, I can give you precisely what you need, when you need it.

To sum it up – these are the main benefits of online training

  • You no longer have to go into a gym

  • Scheduling is a non-issue

  • Stronger accountability and support

  • More cost effective

  • Choose to work with the best trainer for you

  • Free fitness app to track progress

Is Online Training something for everyone?

Whether if you just start out and want to improve your fitness, lose some weight and get in better shape or if you want to take your athletic performance to the next level. Online Personal training offers benefit to a lot of people but on the flip side it’s not for everyone.

I want to work with people who are prepared to make changes in their lives. It’s especially designed for busy people who value their time and look for a sustainable way to transform their health & fitness in the long run.

If you are someone who is highly motivated, can consistently workout and have a very high level of fitness, health and most importantly self confidence to keep it in the long run, then online training might not be something for you.

I am specialised in working with busy young professionals and entrepreneurs, recreational athletes and people interested in transitioning to a plant based lifesytle.

People who generally struggle to get started and stay motivated in the long run, can see online training as their missing piece of the puzzle to finally get on that road of success.

How do I receive my training plans?

Training plans are delivered via the GFitness Online Portal and Mobile App. Your training plan is just a click away and it allows you to see your upcoming workouts for the week and it also enebles your coach to check in on progress throughout the week/month, while maintaining your confidentiality (only you can see your program).

Training plans are delivered on a 2 week cylce and are designed in a way to fit within your life and work schedule.

Do I receive nutrition plans and exact guidlines on what to eat?

The simple answer is NO. I do not write nutrition plans or give you dietary advice on what you should be eating. I am not a qualified dietitian.

My mission here is to truely help you change. I empower you to explore and find a way of eating that is best suitable for your life, skills and circumstances. There is no single best diet and my goal is to help you find what works best for YOU.I help you develop healthy eating habits, build a better relationship with food, making smart food choices, develop a mindset that is geared towards healthy eating to help you in the long run.

Learning about nutrition from the best in the industry I believe that a habit-based nutrition approach is more effective than diet-based coaching anyway.

Let me listen to your needs. What you want to accomplish. How you live. What’s really important to you. Then let me help you create the right dietary approach for you. One that’s specific to your goals and lifestyle.

What are the training principles to achieve my goals?

Everyone has different needs and require a different approach to achieve their goals. But let me share some of the core pillars that are central for your training success:

Keep Training Sessions short but as effective as possible
Long training sessions (anything over 60 minutes; not including the warm-up and cool down) are ineffective for rapid fat loss, unless you have a lot of time available to train. For strength training, anything after 60 minutes is a recipe for overtraining, stagnation, and boredom. From what I’ve observed with clients, the performance usually starts dropping after 45 minutes. A shorter session usually means pinpoint focus and higher intensity. For each workout, you’ll know exactly what to do and how. It’s important to execute efficiently. Approach your training session with pinpoint focus and EXECUTE effectively to see results. No more endless gym hours.

Keep Training Sessions intense
Intensity is the most important variable for fat loss and to build a lean body. You need to apply enough overload for the body to get stronger. This will also help you to speed up your metabolism which is important for weight loss. On the other hand it’s also important to supplement those intense training with some easy recovery in between.

Keep Training consistent
If you want to see results, you must do work, and do it consistently. This is the most difficult part where I will help and guide you. You can have the best training sessions in the world, but they will be rendered ineffective without consistency. The high level of frequency ensures a consistently elevated metabolic rate, and a tremendous surge of EPOC, which means you’ll be burning calories well after your body stops working out.

Make Recovery a priority
Ensure proper recovery every day. It is as important as the work you put in. Consistency does not only refer to training but also sleep, hydration, nutrition, preparation and post-workout fuelling, day in, day out. Recovery will give you the “bang for your buck” ensuring that your hard training pays off and adaptations to training are made. Recovery will also help to stay healthy and injury free.

Is your service only limited to english speaking people?

All the training plans, assessments and other education materials are delivered in english, so I expect my clients to be able to have a solid level of english skills.

Direct communication between coach and client can be either in English or in German. I speak both of these languages.

How does communication between client and trainer work?

Communication between the trainer and the client happens usually via my Fitness App, E-Mails, Text Messages and via regular Check-In Calls.

How much assistance someone needs will vary from client to client, hence why the frequency of communication can vary.

In addition to the above, regular self-assessments give you the chance to provide feedback to your coach and reflect on your previous training week. This valuable feedback helps your coach with the planning of your workouts.

ADVANTAGES OF ONLINE TRAINING

Can I still get results without going to a gym?

Absolutelly! The whole point of online training is that you do not require to have access to a gym. You can still get the results that you want and even more.

Working with me gives you the freedom to workout anytime and anywhere you want (at home, in a hotel, outdoors, whatever is most convenient for you). Your training plans are designed to address your needs to make sure everything fits into your busy lifestyle. I will design workouts that you can do outside of a gym environment. If you do have a membership at a gym, that’s great too. You can keep it if you wish to.

Remember, with online training you are not longer dependend on the time schedule of a gym or personal trainer. You work on your own terms. Best of all you have your own personal “concierge” – giving you what you need, when you need it – at a fraction of the cost of in-person fitness training.

Can I expect quick results and how much time do I need to dedicate for training?

For you to get results it’s going to take some work on both of our parts. This doesn’t happen overnight. If you are not able to commit to at least 3 months of training, then those programs are not for you as I cannot guarantee results.

If you don’t feel like you can commit for a 3-month period, I do offer 1-month Kick Start Programs instead which help you to get very clear about your goals, your limiting factors, your  intention and direction that you want to go.

In terms of dedicated time for training this all comes down to your lifestyle and other commitments in life. Training hours and volume does not define your success. A successful and sustainable training is the one that fits nicely into the rest of your life without sacrificing other important areas in your life. I have clients who train 10-12 hours a week and some that train 3-4. Both of them are successfull, so training time does not dictate the outcome and the results you will get.

I am pretty unfit, not 100% ready but still feel I need to change something. What should I do?

First of all congratulate yourself to make it this far. You show commitment to change and that in itself shows good intention on your end. That’s the first step in the right direction.

My training approach and philosophy is not limited to very fit and healthy people. It’s actually the opposite. I help people who struggle exactly with that. Taking the first steps, gaining confidence and building up internal motivation to keep them going. So it doesn’t matter if you are unfit. You will be suprised by yourself and your capabilities with a bit of help and guidance.

What if I travel a lot and have a really busy schedule and little time to train?

I started out with the intention to create a fitness program that helps people with a busy lifestyle and a high career drive. Through a state of the art training system, you will get highly effective training workouts, ongoing support and guidance to work around your challenges. Whether you travel a lot or have busy schedules at work, training and workouts do not have to take up much time.

That’s why I came up with simple, do-anywhere workouts for people who travel a lot. It takes only a few minutes a day, it requires minimal or no equipment, and it focuses on compound exercise (big muscles, big movements) so it’s certain to be effective.
The workouts are adaptable: You can shuffle exercises around or skip a few of them, come up with different ways to add resistance, or modify the total number of reps and rounds according to how much time you have and your preferences. This will help you maintain muscle, keep your metabolism humming, stave off fat gain, and more.

Online Training is more time efficient, allows easier scheduling, training location and time independent whenever and wherever it works for you. It will give you what you need to ensure the best possible results. You always get access to your training plans and tools anywhere and anytime, making keeping fit easier than ever. The training plans factor in your travel times and schedules, so you are able to integrate them.

PRICING, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

How much does online training cost?

In general, online fitness training is much more cost effective than training in-person. Having a trainer in-person would easily run you $700-$1,000+ a month. That’s because you’re not only paying for the trainer but you’re also paying significant gym overhead costs. (Why pay for management, equipment, property taxes, electricity, etc. if you don’t have to?).The investment for my coaching program depends on the package and the services you require. In general, the investment into your health and fitness will be somewhere between €188 and €700 a month.

Billing occurs forthnightly. Recurring payments can be done online via Paypal, Direct Debit or Credit Card.

Is there a minium duration I need to commit?

My general training packages have a minimum duration of 3 months.

For you to get results it’s going to take some work on both of our parts. This doesn’t happen overnight. If you are not able to commit to at least 3 months of training, then these programs are not for you as I cannot guarantee results. If you don’t feel like you can commit for a 3-month period, I do offer 1-month Kick Start Programs instead.

These Kick Start Programs are ideal for people who are sill not 100% clear on their goals, the direction they want to go and what actions they should take.

Do you offer a hold period/account suspension?

You can request to suspend your account if you are going to be away for a minimum of two weeks where you are unable to continue training. Written notice (e.g. via E-Mail) should be provided to andy@gfitness.eu at least two weeks ahead of time.

The time will be credited at the end of the package period. Each client has a maximum of one 2-week hold period for every 3 months of training.

Is there a refund policy in place?

Online Coaching with your Trainer can be cancelled at any time with a two week notice period. I would ask that you please inform me at least two weeks prior to the conclusion of the package period. Your account will be cancelled at the end of the current package period.

If you committed to a 3 month plan the following refund policy will apply:

If you cancel within the first 2 weeks, you receive 75% refund of the package price.
If you cancel between 3-4 weeks, you receive a 50% refund of the package price.
If you cancel between 5-6 weeks, you receive a 25% refund of the package price.
Cancellations after 7 weeks will not be entitled to a refund.
